Heather Livingston is a highly acclaimed sports nutrition expert with 17 years of experience in the health and nutrition education-training field.
A distinguished speaker and published author, Heather is internationally known for her research and customized nutrition and weight-management programmes, which have been used by the National Basketball Association (NBA), Federation Internationale Basketball Association (FIBA), the Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC) and several teams in the International Hockey League (IHL).
Her expertise has also been utilized by the U.S. Olympic Committee, in addition to numerous other organizations that serve professional and elite athletes.
As the Vice President of Nutrition Training and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Herbalife, Heather is a key spokesperson for the company, working to educate, train and motivate Distributors on nutrition, health education, weight management, lifestyle change, fitness and disease risk reduction. She has motivated thousands of people around the world to make health and nutrition a top priority so that personal and financial goals are more attainable.
A renowned public speaker in her field, Heather lectures to an estimated 500,000 people in 70 countries annually and represents the company as a nutrition expert in the media. She is a regular on the Herbalife Broadcast Network and is currently developing several training programs to assist Distributors in becoming more knowledgeable about nutrition and weight management.
Prior to Herbalife, Heather was the nutrition expert and spokesperson for one of the largest international nutrition companies. She also worked for Johnson & Johnson (J&J) where she managed the health-education programme, “Live for Life.” Additionally, Heather participated in the 1984 Olympics and served as the manager of Athletic Services for the 1984 Olympic Committee.
Heather received a Masters of Science degree in Public Health and Exercise Physiology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors degree in Sports Medicine from the University of California. Heather is an expert in sports nutrition and stays on the cutting edge of the industry through her continued research. Heather exercises regularly, participating in swimming, bicycling, golf and numerous other sports.
